Good Shepherd Medication Management is a Christian nonprofit ministry comprised of pharmacists whose goal is to serve our patients using the unique talents The Lord has blessed us with. We believe talents are gifts from God, not for the building up of the individual, but to be used to serve His children. As pharmacists, we have been blessed with an intimate knowledge of medicine. Our purpose is to serve our patients by sharing this knowledge.

The healthcare system in the United States has lost its focus. No industrialized country spends more money, leaves so many people untreated and produces poorer results. Somewhere along the way the focus of American healthcare shifted from improved patients to increased profits. It's time to shift it back.

Good Shepherd Medication Management is a nonprofit organization of Christian Pharmacists. We believe that each person is created in God's image and should be loved and served with Christ-like compassion. We also believe God blesses every individual with a unique gift. And when one person uses their gift to serve another person it can change the world.

Our Pharmacists are medication experts who serve patients in many different ways. We develop a personal relationship with each patient by praying for them and spending time with them in person to determine their healthcare needs. We work with our patients' doctors to coordinate their care; ensuring our patients are on the fewest, safest, and most appropriate prescriptions and that each of their doctors knows every prescription they take. When one of our patients are in the hospital we offer to visit them and review their medications. Once they're home, we visit them to make sure they're on the correct prescriptions and taking them properly. We maintain those personal relationships by following up with our patients and being available to answer their questions.

And we're opening a charitable pharmacy. Our pharmacy will dispense prescription medications to low income patients who would not otherwise be able to afford them. For free.

Every dollar donated allows us to provide $10 worth of prescription medication to someone who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

By taking the "business" out of our practice we are able to focus all of our attention on our patients. Improved patient outcomes are our sole focus, so there is no incentive to decrease the amount of time we spend with each patient or increase the number of prescriptions we fill per day.

We believe being someone's healthcare provider is an opportunity to serve, not an opportunity to gain. And we are supported by individuals, churches, and businesses that share this belief.
